New versions of Sage ACCPAC ERP include many new enhanced security features including the ability for an administrator to force password changes and limit the day and time that a user may login to ACCPAC. Administrators also have the ability to synchronize an ACCPAC user account with a Windows login therefore eliminating the need to enter an ACCPAC password while still retaining user security.
NEWS
Spring Ahead (So You're Not Left in the Dark)
Ah, those wonderful summer nights when the light lingers long into the evening. They're made even longer by Daylight Savings Time, which used to start in April. But for 2007, Daylight Savings Time starts at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March. This year it falls on March 11.
Besides losing an hour of sleep, will this impact your Sage Accpac, Sage Pro, or Sage BusinessVision software? Relax - it doesn't ! But this may not be the case with products from other manufacturers. For Microsoft's analysis of products affected and their planned responses, please see http://www.microsoft.com/windows/timezone/dst2007.mspx.
