THIS MONTH'S FEATURES
FEATURE
As you may know, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) is decreasing to 5% on January 1, 2008. If you are currently manually calculating GST in ACCPAC, you will not need to make any ACCPAC configuration changes. However, for those of you who allow ACCPAC to automatically calculate GST, a configuration change will need to be made to the GST tax rate in ACCPAC.
A PDF document outlining the steps taken to change a tax rate in ACCPAC has been uploaded to our website and can be viewed here. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
PROMOTION
Until December 28, 2007, current Sage ACCPAC ERP clients will receive a ‘Buy One, Get One Free’ promotion on all new Lanpaks (user licenses) purchased. This is a cost effective way to increase your ACCPAC user count if you require, or anticipate requiring, additional ACCPAC users. Contact us for further details.
TIP OF THE MONTH
With the release of Sage ACCPAC ERP 5.4, users now have the ability to easily process refunds to customers. After entering a credit note to your customer, simply print a refund cheque directly from the new ‘Refund Entry’ area of Accounts Receivable.
